Dr. Solomon is actively involved in research and is currently working with several clinical trials to further assist his patients with their conditions. He is currently enrolled in the CHAMPIONS study; a clinical study focused on multiple sclerosis. He is also involved in a study to treat patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension and is leading a clinical study for non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy.
Dr. Solomon is an active member in many professional societies. He is associated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association of Pediatric ophthalmology and Strabismus, and the North American Neuro-ophthalmology Society.
As a neuro-ophthalmologist, Dr. Solomon specializes in treating patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension, papilledema, ischemic optic neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, diplopia, cranial nerve palsies, migraine, and temporal arteritis. His pediatric ophthalmology specialties include conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia, nystagmus, and ROP. He is a detail oriented doctor who also has training in neuroradiology. Consequently, he enjoys reading his own MRI and CT Scans, giving his patients world-class care. He possesses an immense passion for his work and he will always give each patient his utmost honest opinion.
