wonderful team made every step of my ICL procedure easy and comfortable. They were competent, quick to respond to all my questions, and just kind, kind people, which I value highly.Within a month of my consultation, the procedure was done and I was able to see 20/20. Dr DeBry even let me choose my music during the procedure.
My prescription was -12.50. I will never have to worry about contacts or glasses again. My favorite sport is paddle boarding, and thanks to NV Eye Surgery and Dr DeBry, I’m going to have the best season—and life—yet.

When I found out I could correct my eyes, never wear glasses again and have 20/20 vision I was thrilled. I Scheduled my surgery after all the tests were done and everything was thoroughly explained. Had surgery as I remember 2 weeks apart and the only unpleasantness was some minor irritation the first 2 days after surgery….same for both eyes. Had worn glasses for 25 years and have been free of them for over 4 years now and still have 20/20 vision. Colors are brighter and no more sweat running down the glasses and into my eyes..plus I got back to one of my favorite things….READING! Have completed over 70 books since then and have never had a problem. I can’t say enough good things about my surgery and thank Dr. DeBry again for the excellent work and follow-up care. If you have the opportunity….DO IT!

Ever since I was young, poor vision had been a struggle I dealt with. The struggle impacted essential parts of my life such as education, sports, work, and even daily task such as driving. I started wearing glasses/contacts when I was in high school. I remember the first time I saw a tree with my glasses on and I was blown away; it wasn’t just green blobs anymore, I could actually see the leaves! However, I never wanted to wear glasses and I was a horrible contact lens wearer. I would sleep in them, I wouldn’t clean them daily, my eyes would get so dry I used to take one out and leave one in just so I could function (anything past ~4 feet was all a blur without correction). After about 15 years of frustration, I discussed my struggles with Dr. Peter DeBry and together we decided the ICL was the best procedure for me. It wouldn’t induce any additional dry eye symptoms, it was reversible, and a very quick surgery. The procedure itself was quick, painless and I was back to work the next day. It is life changing waking up in the morning and seeing across the room, or being able to see a shampoo bottle in the shower. 5 years later, I’m still 20/15 and confident that having Dr. DeBry as my surgeon and choosing the ICL was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I’ve wore glasses and contacts for 17 years and finally decided to pull the trigger on Lasik this year. I am so happy I did because it changed my life. I did multiple consultations before my surgery and decided to go with Dr. DeBry because he was the most thorough and seemed like he really cared. He took his time with my visit and you can tell he loves what he does. The surgery was a little nerve racking but it didn’t hurt and I think I was in the procedure room maybe 10-15 minutes max! I could see better right away but my eyes were sensitive and a little sore. I now have 20/15 vision and it’s only been a month since my procedure!

My name is Molly and I have been wearing glasses and/or contacts for over 40 years. Over the years I had been told by more than one eye doctor that LASIK was not, and never would be an option for me. I had resigned myself to the fact that I would be an eye glass wearer for the rest of my life.Then my current optometrist referred me to Dr. Debry. After a complete history and thorough eye exam, he informed me that, even with an astigmatism, I was a good candidate for something called Refractive Lens Exchange surgery. This is a procedure that is similar to cataract surgery. They would remove my natural lens and replace it with either a bi-focal or a multifocal lens. This is basically the same as having a special kind of contact lens permanently implanted in your eye. It sounds much more frightening than it really is. And I can promise you, it’s not as cool or “Bionic” as I would like it to be.
After having Dr. Debry lay out all of my options and explain the risks and benefits of the procedure, I made the decision to go ahead with the surgery. I scheduled my first surgery appointment for the right eye, and the second one two weeks later for the left eye. This just makes sense as I wouldn’t want both eyes out of commission at the same time.
I didn’t know what to expect at the first surgical appointment, but it was much easier than I’d expected. Because they need to dilate they eye, the prep time took longer than the actual surgery. The entire staff was so kind. Everyone made me feel very much at ease. Dr. Debry and his surgical staff made me feel very relaxed as well, which is never an easy thing to do. The words “surgery” and “comfortable” rarely belong in the same sentence. They let me listen to my type of music and talked to me during the entire procedure. It’s like hanging out with friends. From start to finish, the procedure took a quick 10 to 15 minutes and was completely painless. I truly felt nothing. I had no pain at all, even afterwards. When I returned two weeks later for the procedure on my other eye, the staff treated me like an old friend. I had just as wonderful an experience the second time as I had the first time. Maybe better because I knew what to expect.
The follow-up care was handled by my regular eye doctor and was a complete breeze as well. What amazed me was, as early as my first follow-up appointment 24 hours after the procedure, I had 20/20 vision in the surgical eye. And then it got even better because 24 hours after my second surgery I could pick up my cellphone and read and/or type a text without a problem. I could pick up a book or newspaper and read it with no glasses on. I even walked out of the doctors office and drove home with nothing but a pair of regular sunglasses on. No more glasses or contacts ever again! My eyes were amazing!
I cannot explain to you how this procedure has simplified and overall changed my life. No more wearing glasses, carrying around contact cases and solution, extra reading glasses or prescription sunglasses. I can go shopping and read the prices on tags or labels on packages. I can wake up in the morning and see my husband’s face without first reaching for my glasses. Being an avid reader, I can pick up a book without pulling out a pair of reading glasses. I can take my kids to an amusement park without switching back and forth between my regular glasses and prescription sunglasses, or being afraid of losing them on a ride!
I still occasionally catch myself reaching to lift up my glasses before I rub my eye only to find they are not there. Such an odd feeling. I imagine it will be a while before that habit goes away but I can live with that. Having this procedure done was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Debry and his staff or about the life changing work that they do. I highly recommend that you give them a chance as well. You never know how different your life might be next month.
